Andalusian Arabic Orchestra

Lead by Musical Director Samir Maarbani, the Andalusian Arabic Orchestra (AAO) specialises in playing instruments from the Andalusian era. The music is predominantly from the Andalusian era and is played to formal Arabic poetry.

A fusion of flamenco, tango and other styles is in the making. The orchestra performs in three forms:

As an ensemble of 12 musicians and prominent singers.

As a smaller group of 6 musicians.

The above two ensemble variations accompany the Andalusian Arabic Choir and/or the Andalusian Dancers.

The AAO accompanied the Andalusian Arabic Choir at the major music production ─ French Cabaret & Circus which was attended by 700 people.
