SYDNEY FRENCH CHOIR
The Sydney French Choir (SFC) was formed in 2008. SFC aims to foster cultural exchange with its francophone choral art and music. The choir’s mission is to find, preserve and interpret French folklore, jazz, pop, classical, sacred and cabaret music.
The choir is administered by the French Music and Dance Company (FMDC) and conducted by Ms Amandine Petit, M Mus, a French national who is highly qualified as a Musical Director and singer with various chamber orchestras in Sydney.
The choir is a diverse group including university students, teachers, lawyers, associate professors, white and blue collar workers.

Sydney French Choir consists of the main choir (50 choristers) and the ensemble (20 choristers). The choir welcomes French people, Francophones and locals who are interested in rehearsing a diverse Francophone choral repertoire, including styles such as classical, pop, jazz, cabaret, barbershop, sacred and alternative. We have a no audition policy so, providing that you know some French, the choir may be for you.

Fees for eight-week term: $126
Full-time university students: $90
